Night out, 30th Birthday. Getting older, and wiser!! all of the time :)
My son and daughter.
Biography: A Jacksonville Native, born in PA but moved to Jacksonville at the age of one. I played T-Ball at Atlantic Beach and went to the Bambino World Series winning 5th place in the nation. Later, I moved to Wingate Park at Jacksonville Beach for Baseball. During this time, I was invited to play in the Junior Olympics and won the Gold Medal. In High School, I started playing ball at Sandalwood and moved to Fletcher High School in the 10th Grade. In 1996, I was drafted out of High School as the 100th pick in the 4th round as a Pitcher for The Detroit Tigers. My career began in Rookie Ball, Low A Ball, and High A in West Michigan. In the year of 2000, I was lucky enough to get to play right here in Jacksonville for the Suns. Nearing the end of 2000, My Wife and I had our first child, Kaila. In 2001, The Family started a memorable path around the Nation. We went to Toledo Ohio where I played AAA Ball for the Mudhens. In 2002, I returned once again to play for the Mudhens but made my Major League Debut for the TIgers against the White Sox. After my first game, I was injured. But the fun was not over-I was traded to the Atlanta Braves. What a rush to be in a Clubhouse with some of the Greatest Ball Players Ever, Maddox and Glavine. I am thankful for this life experience. Soon after, I was sent to AAA to play for the Richmond Braves. After ending the year strong, I entered Free Agency. I played for the Padres and the Rangers leading my career to a close. In 2005, My wife and I added yet another addition to the family, Beau. We decided that we wanted to get focused on our Family and our life after Baseball.  As I said Goodbye to playing Pro Ball, I began my new passion. Working with the youth. It is such a honor to extend my knowledge and mentoring  to Athletes that desire to grow and learn. I am so excited to be entering my 3rd Year with the Jacksonville Whitecaps. The Whitecaps went undefeated in Coopertown this summer entering the Championship Game resulting in 2nd Place Overall. It is so satisfying to watch these players improve all of the time. This year, I pleased to welcome the 12u Team to the Whitecaps Family. I look forward to working with these players and their AWESOME Families to develop fine young men into Well Developed Ball Players.

Future Plans: I hope to spend my career expanding and developing the game for young players. My desire is to be a fully dedicated physical trainer and baseball instructor to develop young people into prospects in Great Sport of Baseball. Look for my certification in Physical Training. That goes for you Old Folks too. You're never too Old to get Fit!!
